The "Faberge Treasures " cushion range- designed by Marina Wiese Size 45 x 45 cm Inserts are not included Two books of original watercolour and ink drawings from Faberge's Workshop have recently been found in St. Petersburg. Each cushion design is based on the original watercolour and ink drawings of jewels for Russian and European Royal families. Each design is dated and accompanied by detailed hand written instruction as to the type, number and weight of gemstones, precious metal setting, and colour of enameling to be used in the creation of the piece. Some of the designs have been adapted slightly for embroidery. Czar Alexander's Broach (Left) A large broach forming the initial "A" composed of 17 rubies and 73 brilliant diamonds, 228 rose diamonds. Dated June 30, 1910. Dragon Fly Broach The naturalistic dragonfly broach is set with faceted oval, cabochon and square-cut sapphires and brilliant and rose diamonds. Dated May 11, 1912 Queen Bee Broach A gold and silver mounted naturalistic bee broach, set with one brilliant diamond, rose diamonds and two cats eyes. The initial "KP" on the design drawing indicate the designer's initials. Dated December 7, 1913
