Marta is our fresh, contemporary range of striped linen. Set on a 100% raw linen base, our colours have been yarn-dyed to ensure longevity of colour and integrity of cloth. We chose a Natural Stripe, Black Stripe, Blue Stripe and Red Stripe to contrast with the raw colour and give a sense of playfulness, while celebrating the sophistication and beauty of the linen. This collection comes in placemats and runners, plus cushions, providing the opportunity to bring a contemporary or industrial and even Japanese, European, Scandinavian or French look to the dining table – depending on your home and style. However, whichever style is chosen, Marta ensures understated cool.
Marta is a contemporary and extremely versatile collection of placemats, runners and cushions. It is a ready-made playful design, while still being sophisticated, and answers the need for a 100% linen option that sits well in a Scandinavian or industrial Japanese pared back look and feel (which is how we’ve styled our marketing images for the collection). This collection was developed to meet the Australian need for a product that meets a pared back design-savvy aesthetic, while still having a sense of fun.
