THE SHALLOWS OF CORAL BAY HAVE INSPIRED PURE LINEN'S FIRST ART-BASED FABRIC RANGE: THE NINGALOO COLLECTION
PURE LINEN's NINGALOO Fabric Collection is born from a photograph of the shallows at Coral Bay on Western Australia's beautiful and endangered Ningaloo Reef - an area on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Marina Wiese, director and founder of PURE LINEN, was captivated when looking through the lens at the clear ocean water and bed of sand and shells below. She captured that view on her camera and has manipulated that image to create the NINGALOO Fabric Collection.
The fabric collection has been released in three colours, which have been inspired by elements from nature in the region: Shore (light blue of the shallows); Sea (grey-green of the water); and Shell (pink tinge found on shells).
"While the colours are strong and bold in the desert region surrounding Coral Bay, it's the peaceful feeling that you get while standing in this beautiful and captivating area of Australia and the colours you see when standing in the shallows that has inspired our colour palette," says Marina.
NINGALOO is made to order for bedding full bedding sets available, curtains, cushion covers, table linen (napkins, placemats, runners, tablecloths), custom items (bedheads, lampshades, etc) and the fabric is available by the roll.
